2026 - our 50th Anniversary year!
Things to see, things to do, and memorabilia to buy
This is just the placeholder - there is much more to come. The 50th Anniversary will see the production of a new North Laine book, full of worderful text and pictures covering some of the history of the area. Much is planned, preparations are still in hand but this is s taster to whet your appetite for what we hope will be a year to remember. See below for some of the other elements that the year will bring.
The Calendar
Enjoy a year with images of North Laine, set in as calendar. Don't worry, pictures and puirchasing options will follow soon.
The exhibition
The Jubilee Library will host somer of the incredible pictures associated with North Laine and it's tumultuous history. The exhibition will start on 19th January 2026, in the Jubilee Library foyer and reception area. There may be a quiz and there may be prizes!
The memorabilia
There will be some things just to enjoy, some to display and some to buy. Announcements about how and when you can buy are coming soon! Much wikll be revealed at the next community meeting on 18th November 2025.
