2026 – our 50th anniversary year!
Things to see, things to do, and memorabilia to buy
The 50th anniversary will see publication of the Best of 50 years of the North Laine Runner book, full of news reports, life stories, dramatic events, scandals, celebrities, interviews, our changing landscape and lifestyles, and pictures of the area.
The Calendar
This has been selling well and you can still get copies of our special 2026 anniversary calendar at North Laine Community Association meetings and social events, and at Brighton Toy Museum in Trafalgar Street and Infinity Foods in North Road
The exhibition
The Jubilee Library will host some of the incredible pictures associated with North Laine and it's tumultuous history. The exhibition will start on January 19, 2026, in the Jubilee Library foyer and reception area. There may be a quiz with prizes!
The memorabilia
There will be items just to enjoy, some to display and some to buy. We will have tote bags, pens, coasters and window stickers available throughout 2026.
