Jubilee Library

​

The Jubilee Library is open seven days a week, with later opening on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7pm. It is the city's main library and forms the centrepiece of the £50 million Jubilee Square development. It was opened in 2005 and has won many design awards. It offers extensive IT facilities, a large LGBT literature collection, social and community activities and art works. In terms of visitor numbers and loans, the library is one of the busiest in England.

Prince Regent swimming pool

 

The Prince Regent swimming complex has a 25 metre main pool, shallow pool and teaching pool for learners, a gym, and runs regular fitness classes and swimming lessons for adults and children.
