A brief history

An 1870 street directory lists Trafalgar Lane and the 1876 map shows a large saw mill in the middle of the street. An 1866 map shows Saw Mill Lane in about that position.

Trafalgar Lane today

Trafalgar Lane runs between Trafalgar Street and Gloucester Road. There is no residential housing. On the western side the main business premises are those of builders merchants Travis Perkins. The eastern side is the rear of Kensington Place gardens.
