Max Miller statue now lit at night

Monday 30th May saw the bronze statue of Max Miller in Pavilion Gardens finally lit up.
Organised by the Max Miller Appreciation Society
The switch on was organised by the Max Miller Appreciation Society and conducted by comedian Al Murray after he finished his show at the Theatre Royal in New Road.

After a countdown and the switch on, Al Murray posed for pictures with his audience and signed autographs. Introductions were made by outgoing Chair John Henty and newly appointed Chair Averil Older.
