The Max Miller Appreciation Society held a Cheeky Chappie Charity Tea Party at the Pavilion Gardens Café on Sunday 8th August 2010, for the benefit of the Mayor’s charities and St Dunstan’s. £2,500 was raised.
There was also an unveiling ceremony for a plaque next to Max Miller’s statue in New Road, explaining who he was for those who don’t already know.
There's now a room named the Max Miller Blue Room in the Ha Ha Bar & Grill, Pavilion Buildings, and a permanent exhibition of Max Miller memorabilia in Bardsley’s Fish Restaurant, in Baker Street off the London Road.
