Combating crime and anti-social behaviour
By Jackie Fuller, North Laine resident
Home Secretary Alan Johnson visited Bond Street during the Labour Party Conference on 28 September 2009. He was keen to speak to the Brighton & Hove Business Crime Reduction Partnership to hear how the scheme was helping them to combat crime and anti-social behaviour. During the visit he chatted to local business owners who benefitted from BCRP membership and he also spoke to the Business Improvement District (BID)'s on-street security patrol and members of Sussex Police.
