Street party!

August Bank Holiday (Monday 31st August 2009) saw the first Gardner Street party, which took place on a blazing hot day with live music organised on two stages - one outside the Komedia, the other in front of Infinity Foods opposite the Dorset Arms.

The newly opened Temptation Café got into the spirit of things by dressing up as characters from Alice in Wonderland and having a Mad Hatter's tea party.

Sussex's own 'Out of the Ordinary' festival was being promoted by Emily and Kate with face painting outside Purple Heart, and massage was also available.
