'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by John Osborne (after Oscar Wilde)
By Peter Crowhurst, NLCA Theatre Group coordinator
The next visit of the Theatre Group
The next visit of the NLCA’s Theatre Group will be to the Little Theatre on Thursday May 24th to see The Picture of Dorian Gray. All residents are welcome. Just let me know how many tickets you need and I will reserve them for you to be paid for on the night.
What is the play about?
The Little Theatre describes the play as follows:
Dorian Gray is idolised by painter Basil Hallward, who captures the young man's looks in a portrait. Dorian wishes he could stay young and beautiful forever, as he appears in the painting. Meanwhile, wealthy influential Lord Wooton falls under Dorian's spell and indulges his every whim. But everything has a price. A cocktail of murder, narcissism and fascination.
How do I book tickets?
