Eats, drinks and quizzes

NLCA seasonal social, December 2008

A very successful seasonal social was held after the December 2008 community meeting, with about 60 people in attendance. Drinks and eats were provided by the NLCA and a raffle was held with many generous prizes from local traders and residents.

Two photo quizzes

In addition two photo quizzes were organised. The first featured unusual photos taken around North Laine, which those present were asked to identify. The second showed shops and buildings once in North Laine but long since gone. Party goers were asked to say where they used to be and what is there now. Both these photo quizzes were quite intriguing and got people talking and discussing the answers.
