No need for winter 'blues'!

Grey days, chilly days and dark evenings at this time of the year can be depressing.  It helps to look ahead, and Brighton & Hove City Council have published three guides on the Council website: http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/.

Three guides:

They offer:

- 52 reasons to visit Brighton and Hove in 2009

- The VisitBrighton 50 things to do in Brighton

- The VisitBrighton A to Z guide of things to do in Brighton.

Movie map and sculpture tour:

Also available to download is a VisitBrighton movie map and the National Recording Project for Sussex Brighton sculpture trail.

Fifty things to do in Brighton

What is on offer?  Amongst the fifty are orbing in a 12ft PVC orb down a Sussex Downs hill, various walks, vroom on a scooter, going 'veggietastic' at a local restaurant, a tour of the old police cells, or the sewers, a spooky Preston Manor ghost tour and, of course, buying vegetarian shoes in the North Laine.

Brighton:  what a great place to be.
