Gloucester Place Baptist Church
Gloucester Place Baptist Church
All are welcome
By David Ballard
The Gloucester Place Baptist Church was established at the turn of the last century by the coming together of two Baptist churches in Brighton, namely those in Queen's Square and Sussex Street.
Badly damaged during Second World War
During the 1939-1945 war the Church was badly damaged by enemy action but survived to serve the community up to the present time.
In recent years much has been done to adapt the premises to serve the present day.
Our congregation
Gloucester Place Baptist Church is made up of all kinds of ordinary people. We have young and old, couples and singles, teenagers, families, people from different cultural backgrounds, and senior citizens. All are catered for and welcomed for who they are. Although we are from a variety of backgrounds, we have one thing in common, which is how our lives are being changed by the Lord Jesus Christ.
We meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30am.
