Max Miller Re-Doddification

Last August the Max Miller statue was re-dedicated in its new position in the Pavilion Gardens adjacent to New Road. The great Ken Dodd unveiled the statue with Michael Aspel, Dennis Norden, Judy Cornwall and local favourite Dora Bryan in attendance. The afternoon was celebrated on the Pavilion Gardens Cafe patio with tea, coffee, cake and sandwiches whilst listening to the Band. Max Miller members mingled with the lookalikes and celebrities.
