New play area for pre-school launched

It was absolutely tipping down on Wednesday 9th July when we were due to dedicate the brand new play area in Brighthelm Garden off North Road, which has been provided by the church. No matter, under cover, and with a projected picture, young and old gathered in the church and enjoyed a procession with puppets, balloons and prayers to dedicate the newly-prepared site, which will contribute to reclaiming our green space as an area for positive activities, rather than anti-social behaviour.
