On behalf of the traders in the Upper Gardner Street market I would like to thank all the residents and traders in North Laine who supported our application for longer trading hours.

We applied back in October 2003 and many of you may remember signing a petition then and writing letters on our behalf, for which we are extremely grateful. We had over 1,000 signatures supporting us.

We can at last officially work until 5pm as do all other traders in the area.
