This is a photographic print of the west side of Wood Street, Brighton. It is a view along the street showing the fronts of the houses.
This photograph was commissioned by the Environmental Health department of Brighton Borough Council. It formed part of a visual record of buildings and areas that were considered for slum clearance. Wood Street was demolished in 1962.
