By Jackie Fuller, North Laine resident

The side wall of the Prince Albert pub with its entrance in Trafalgar Street has been known in the past for its image of legendary DJ John Peel and for Bansky’s ‘Kissing Policemen’.

Now a new mural

In July 2013 a full mural was added, now including images of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Freddy Mercury and Amy Winehouse among others. Altogether 24 deceased stars are featured, all household names and including a new younger John Peel.

The artists

It was a collaboration between Brighton graffiti artists Req and SinnaOne and the Prince Albert owner Chris Steward.

Identifying who's there

Lots of people come to photograph the new mural and to enjoy identifying those who are featured on it!
