We have just received a letter from Brighton CC re: planning permission to convert the current "unused floors" (this is clearly a bare faced lie) of 41A & 41B Bond street into a hostel.

If anyone has not seen it yet (full plans can be found on the Brighton Council website, Quoting BH2011/03854)

One can only imagine why he would want to turn it into a hostel (no questions when there are people coming in and out of the property at all hours).

The noise and the aggression coming from this property during the day (radio one blares out from 10.30am on a weekday and 9.30am on a weekend) have tried politely asking them to turn it down, to no avail (met with threats to personal safety).

During the night, shouting at people on the street (men and women) threats of violence. Police called several times, one particular incident in Nov 2011 when someone was stabbed in the leg at the property.

If anyone else is opposed to the risk this development will undoubtedly cause please put a stop to this.
